Revolutionizing the Job Search: Connecting Jobs

Connecting Jobs is a new job platform based in the UAE. The team wanted to build the entire brand and product from scratch. We worked as consultants, designing a brand from the ground up, creating a brand identity, building various communication assets, and designing and developing a responsive web platform.

Approach:

We approached this problem by developing and finalizing the brand visual identity with stakeholders while concurrently building the information architecture and wireframes for the web platform. Once we finalized the brand identity, the key design elements provided enough clarity for us to work on the interface designs.

My Role :

  • Brand Identity:

    We designed the brand identity by taking inspiration from the name of the brand and the services provided by the company. Drawing inspiration from a paperclip, which also forms the initials C and J, felt balanced and well-represented. After testing it in different use cases, we finalized the idea and the identity.


  • Communication Assets:

    For a brand that wants to establish a long-term commitment to the customer, having a consistent outlook in its communication is necessary. We developed a design language that can be adapted to any use case for marketing, leveraging brand recall. Alongside this, we created guidelines on how to use graphic patterns, colors, and typography for any other designers working on the brand communication.


  • UI design:

    As we are building the first version of the product, we want to make it very simple yet inspiring enough for customers to use. We created and optimized the IA, which provided inputs for the wireframes and user flows. Drawing inspiration from the brand language, we crafted distinctive designs consistent with the brand.


Solution:

For Connecting Jobs, we developed a comprehensive brand identity, leveraging a paper clip-inspired logo for a balanced representation. This design language extended into the product interface, ensuring a simple yet inspiring experience for users, aligning with the brand's commitment to long-term customer engagement.
